Location: Cake Shop Cafe, 22A West St., Millbury
Park at 45/47 River St., Millbury, diagonally across from Felter's Mill

  Destination:  Summit of Mount Wachusett 
 We'll explore roads around the Old Stone Church on the way.
 After the summit, we'll coast down to the Mountainside Cafe.

ll riders and ride leaders are expected to abide by the following guidelines.
  • Seven Hills Wheelmen rides are for members only. Individuals or households that had paid membership dues for 2020 were given free membership for 2021. Others may join here. Online signup requires acceptance of a liability waiver.
     

  • RSVP to the ride leader is requested. Ride leaders are asked to get the names and phone numbers of all riders, and RSVPs before the ride date will cut down on info-gathering at the start.
     

  • All riders should monitor for symptoms, and if you feel sick, exclude yourself from group rides, isolate and get testing. DO NOT come to a Seven Hills Wheelmen ride if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or have had a positive test for COVID-19 within 10 days before the ride. Check the CDC web page regarding symptoms
     

  • Following  CDC guidelinesvaccinated riders can safely participate with other riders without using a mask outdoors or indoors. All riders should continue to follow state, local, and business requirements regarding masks, hand hygiene, and distancing. Unvaccinated riders should continue to mask, hand santiize, and distance as recommended by the state Department of Public Health (PDFs are downloadable here and here [updated May 17]) and the CDC.
     

  • Any rider who develops COVID-19 symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19 within two days of the ride must notify the ride leader.
     

  • Ride leaders are free to impose additional precautions, such as asking riders to bring their vaccination card (or a photocopy of it or a picture of it on their phone). Riders may be rejected from the ride at the leader's discretion.

  About one third of this route is gravel; the rest is beautiful and quiet
 paved country roads. Leader hopes to average 17 mph.

  Destination: Woodstock Orchards (Connecticut).
  Leader expects to average 19 mph, "faster than our usual
  Sunday rides." There are plenty of hills, and just as many awesome
  descents. Probably 35-39 degrees, so you may welcome

Mountain biking, year-round

An informal group of Seven Hills members goes mountain biking. We don't plan far ahead, and we keep people posted by e-mail. To get in the loop, contact Bill Dobson at binaryengineering@charter.net


Selected Saturdays or Sundays

EASY C RIDER

Activity: Road rides, mostly 15-35 miles, C
Location & Time: See www.easycrider.com  
Leader: Dick Goodman, leader@easycrider.com

These are easy-paced Saturday or Sunday rides led by club member Dick Goodman. Time and location varies. Rarely over 35 miles, and Dick doesn't go looking for hills. Check www.easycrider.com each week for the lowdown. Usually the weekend plan is online by Thursday night. Dick discourages phone calls but can be reached at leader@easycrider.com and requests RSVP by 10 p.m. Friday, via e-mail or Facebook group, so he knows who's coming.

 


Last-minute activities

 

 

If you want company when you bike, e-mail your plan (time, date, place, activity) to LTolman@LTolman.org and Lynne will forward it to everyone in the club. It’s best to contact Lynne by noontime Thursday for weekend activities.
