  These rides offer a great opportunity to become a very strong climber. 
  
We will warm up on back roads and then ride to the summit of Mount Wachusett.
  As the season goes on we'll add more hills.  Expect about 2,000 feet of climbing 
  early in the season, and as much as 4,000 to 5,000 later.
  We welcome riders of all levels. We will wait for people,  or ride back to them, 
  to keep the group together. There are plenty of escape routes.

June 17: No "A" or "B" ride leaders -- we're taking a recovery day after the King's Tour of the Quabbin
There might be a C ride, probably from the usual location, which is Cake Shop Cafe, 22A West St., Millbury, with parking at 45/47 River St., at the usual time, which is 9:00 a.m. But we have not been given details as of 7:30 the night before, so the only way to know for sure is to show up and see if there are others who want to ride together.
The D ride will be 23 miles, starting at 8:30 a.m. from Hanover Insurance, 440 Lincoln St., Worcester. Enter the second driveway (Learning Center) on the Beverly Street side of the building. Leader is Gayle, gstockhaus@mail.com
These rides will continue most Sundays, with options for various paces & distances. These are joint rides with Worcester County Women’s Cycling.

Mountain biking, year-round

An informal group of Seven Hills members goes mountain biking. We don't plan far ahead, and we keep people posted by e-mail. To get in the loop, contact Bill Dobson at binaryengineering@charter.net


Selected Saturdays or Sundays

EASY C RIDER

Activity: Road rides, mostly 15-35 miles, C
Location & Time: See www.easycrider.com  
Leader: Dick Goodman, leader@easycrider.com

These are easy-paced Saturday or Sunday rides led by club member Dick Goodman. Time and location varies. Rarely over 35 miles, and Dick doesn't go looking for hills. Check www.easycrider.com each week for the lowdown. Usually the weekend plan is online by Thursday night. Dick discourages phone calls but can be reached at leader@easycrider.com and requests RSVP by 10 p.m. Friday, via e-mail or Facebook group, so he knows who's coming.

 


Last-minute activities

 

 

If you want company when you bike, e-mail your plan (time, date, place, activity) to LTolman@LTolman.org and Lynne will forward it to everyone in the club. It’s best to contact Lynne by noontime Thursday for weekend activities.
