Location: Long Pond boat ramp, Routes 122 & 122A, Rutland
Time: 9:00 a.m.

 Ride 43 miles into Warren and West Brookfield for a peek at the miniature horses at Sawmill River Farm.
 Leader goes slow (12-13 mph) but faster riders are welcome - just follow the cue sheet.
  There's an option to extend the ride to 
Rose 32 Bread, which adds 5 miles.
 There are also a couple of shortcut options near the end that could shave 2-3 miles from the total.

Location: Westminster VFW, 3 Eaton St., Westminster - just off Main Street (Route 2A) behind Cumberland Farms 
Time: 4:30 p.m.

  These rides offer a great opportunity to become a very strong climber. 
  
We will warm up on back roads and then ride to the summit of Mount Wachusett.
  As the season goes on we'll add more hills.  Expect about 2,000 feet of climbing 
  early in the season, and as much as 4,000 to 5,000 later.
  We welcome riders of all levels. We will wait for people,  or ride back to them, 
  to keep the group together. There are plenty of escape routes.

This is a modified version of the King's Tour of the Quabbin, covering the highlights
 of the century and double metric century routes, starting and ending at Hardwick Winery.
 Riders of all levels are welcome, but if you don't ride about 17-18 mph on average, try to 
 create your own group and be prepared to follow the cue sheet and/or RideWithGPS.
 This is an unsupported ride with plenty of refueling options along the way.

 Major Taylor Metric Century, is a pretty hilly ride into Hubbardston, 
 Templeton, Phillipston, Petersham, Barre, and Oakham. Rest stop 
 is at the Petersham Country Store.

Mountain biking, year-round

An informal group of Seven Hills members goes mountain biking. We don't plan far ahead, and we keep people posted by e-mail. To get in the loop, contact Bill Dobson at binaryengineering@charter.net


Selected Saturdays or Sundays

EASY C RIDER

Activity: Road rides, mostly 15-35 miles, C
Location & Time: See www.easycrider.com  
Leader: Dick Goodman, leader@easycrider.com

These are easy-paced Saturday or Sunday rides led by club member Dick Goodman. Time and location varies. Rarely over 35 miles, and Dick doesn't go looking for hills. Check www.easycrider.com each week for the lowdown. Usually the weekend plan is online by Thursday night. Dick discourages phone calls but can be reached at leader@easycrider.com and requests RSVP by 10 p.m. Friday, via e-mail or Facebook group, so he knows who's coming.

If you want company when you bike, e-mail your plan (time, date, place, activity) to LTolman@LTolman.org and Lynne will forward it to everyone in the club. It’s best to contact Lynne by noontime Thursday for weekend activities.
