| Every Monday Activity: Road ride, 10-14 miles Location: Barney's Bicycle, 165 Chandler St., Worcester Time: 6:15 p.m. Leader: Peter Howard, barneysbicycle@rcn.com , 508-799-BIKE Tights and lights! Ridership remained high through the dark but fairly warm evenings in November, so let's keep going. These rides are for advanced beginners or fast riders taking a "recovery day" after a weekend of hard riding. Headlights are required this time of year. |

Activity: Cross-country skiing in Nick's Woods
Location: Meet at St. John's Episcopal Church, 166 Holden St.,
Worcester
Time: 9:00 a.m.

If there's about 8 inches of snow on the ground and roads are
plowed, we should be good to kick 'n' glide. Call or e-mail
leader by 8:30 a.m. to confirm. St. John's Episcopal Church is
near Brattle Street and the railroad tracks; meet in the church's
rear parking lot. Access to Nick's Woods, a 60-acre conservation
property owned by Greater Worcester Land Trust, is from Smith
Lane, across Holden Street from the church. Kim is a GWLT ranger
for thePark. Avoid the parking spaces nearest the church building
if you can.

Activity: Mountain bike or snowshoe, depending on conditions
Location: Mid-State Trail at Route 122, Rutland

, 508-867-8941Meet where the Mid-State Trail crosses Route 122 in
Rutland, a little bit north of Long Pond (Route 122A). We will go
out and back on the Mid-State to Browning Pond Road in Spencer.
