Activity: Cross-country skiing in Nick's Woods (or hiking)

If there's about 8 inches of snow on the ground and roads are plowed, we should be good to kick 'n' glide. Call or e-mail leader by 8:30 a.m. to confirm skiing, or to suggest hiking. St. John's Episcopal Church is near Brattle Street and the railroad tracks; meet in the church's rear parking lot. Access to Nick's Woods, a 60-acre conservation property owned by Greater Worcester Land Trust, is from Smith Lane, across Holden Street from the church. Kim is a GWLT ranger for the park. Avoid the parking spaces nearest the church building if you can.
