If you can lead a bike ride, hike, ski or other activity in March, submit the details by midnight Feb. 12 to Lynne Tolman, LTolman@LTolman.org , 508-831-0301.

Special note: Weather and ground conditions this time of year are hard to predict, so please check with the leader ahead of time to find out which, if any, activity is still scheduled. All locations are in Massachusetts unless otherwise noted. Ride category explanation.

Activity: Cross-country skiing in Nick's Woods (or hiking)
Location: Meet at St. John's Episcopal Church, 166 Holden St., Worcester
Time: 9:00 a.m.

If there's about 8 inches of snow on the ground and roads are plowed, we should be good to kick 'n' glide. Call or e-mail leader by 8:30 a.m. to confirm skiing, or to suggest hiking. St. John's Episcopal Church is near Brattle Street and the railroad tracks; meet in the church's rear parking lot. Access to Nick's Woods, a 60-acre conservation property owned by Greater Worcester Land Trust, is from Smith Lane, across Holden Street from the church. Kim is a GWLT ranger for the park. Avoid the parking spaces nearest the church building if you can.

See a selection of award-winning films, long and short, highlighting mountain adventure and mountain culture. Buy your own tickets ($15) and contact the leaders about a possible carpool. The Banff Mountain Film Festival tour is not coming to Worcester this year. The World Tour continues Feb. 21 and 22, also in Arlington. Film details are or will be at www.paulnager.com .
